Rar is not password protected. I can verify that this works on Wii softmod. I used a DVD-R by sony, burned it using imgburn default settings and in 1x speed. Online play works great, can connect to channel.

I dont know what the wiiscrubber does other than its suppose to get rid of the uneccessary junk. Can someone who has used the wiiscrubber describe what has been removed.

I would like to play mario kart online but Im wondering if the wiiscrubber got rid of it. Any feedback will be appreciated.

It does just what you said... it gets rid of the unnecessary junk. Nothing has been removed that affects gameplay at all. The game will be 100% playable...

Worked fine, however when i try to play the battle area it says disk cannot be read and halts the game.. burned at 2X Have WiiKey 2.. any ideas

then burn the extracted ISO
(For this one I used ImgBurn at 4x in a Sony DVD-R)

now reading the other comments I'm not sure if I burned at 4x or 1x... usually if you get an error at one speed try the other (and when none works 2x does the job :P)

I don't know the exact difference between the two, but I know Wii games run better on DVD-R. Or it might be that ImgBurn, by default, is set for DVD-R media and requires annoying customized settings to get it to burn to DVD+R. So, all in all, use DVD-R.

i need some help. this worked fine until i started playing madden 10 on wii. i got an update and now it says error after you select play on the menu. Madden and Animal Crossing still work perfectly though.

no, you have to mod your wii in order to play ANY downloaded/burned wii or gamecube games :P

So what do I do with all of these rar files, extract them to a new folder? Or extract them to where they are? I have a shit ton of mku files too. Sorry for being dense, haven't had to build a wii iso before.

Just find the WiiSOS_mku.rar file that opens with winzip or any other compresser by default, this is the one that you are going to decompress and extract anywhere you want in your computer.

after that, u just burn ur .iso file thst you just created into a DVD-R and if you did all your softmoding right, this should work...

Works great on my v 4.2u though sometimes I get the disk read error "...refer to your manual" Mostly for loading menus. Take it out and pop it back in usually does the trick. Works flawlessly with GX usb loader.

I can't seem to find the right burn speed and dvd-r/dvd+r combo that works great for my wii. I always use Imgburn (was told that works best). Anyone know what else to try aside from using GX?

Nuclear: I use nero 7 ultra edition, it has nero burning rom which lets you change the speed you burn at.

quick question:

I am using Wii Backup Manager to format and transfer games to an external drive and load the games with Wiiflow usb loader. With a torrent like this, with many .rar files.. what can i do? Can i use the iso within the torrent and if i do will it load/format the full game onto my harddrive?
